I created the Equiderma Neem System—Equiderma Neem and Arnica Shampoo and Equiderma Neem Conditioner—because I was living with the reality of horse skin every day. In a rescue barn and an equestrian center, you don’t get to work in perfect conditions. Horses sweat. They live in turnout. They deal with insects, humidity, weather swings, and constant grooming demands. And when you’re responsible for many horses, you don’t want products that just “clean.” You want products that are genuinely supportive to the skin and coat, because that’s what keeps horses comfortable and looking good long-term.
That’s where these two came from. I’m Bethany Padgett, and I built these as a pair on purpose. Equiderma Neem and Arnica Shampoo is the botanical cleanse. It starts with an overnight-steeped herbal tea—neem leaf, arnica, basil, pine bark, cherry bark, and chamomile—plus neem seed oil. It’s sulfate-free and made with plant-derived, earth-friendly green surfactants, because I didn’t want harsh detergents stripping the coat and leaving skin more reactive. I wanted the wash step itself to support skin comfort. It’s also why so many horse people love it for soothing insect bite hypersensitivity and for wound care cleansing when you need to wash the area thoroughly but gently.
Then Equiderma Neem Conditioner is the follow-through. It keeps neem at the center with neem leaf tea and neem seed oil, then adds jojoba oil, castor oil, vitamin E, and vitamin B-five for slip, softness, and a finish that makes manes and tails truly manageable. The detangling is the kind that saves hair, not breaks it—especially when used the way we recommend: saturate, rinse, let it dry completely, and then comb. That’s how you get the “second to none” result without damaging the mane and tail.
These products are special to me because they weren’t dreamed up in a boardroom. They were built in real barn life, for horses that needed more comfort, more support, and better results—whether the goal is a beautiful show coat, a healthier-looking skin environment, soothing seasonal insect irritation, or simply doing right by the horses in your care.
